window channel
Anybody know where I get some of the factory quality window channel. I bought the ONE PIECE PRODUCTS WINDOWS. Well I like the windows and quality of the kit. The run channels are cheap. I want some with the metal structure. These are all rubber and dont stay very well. They are CHEAP and CHEAP LOOKING. I wants some that is long enough to accomdate without the vent window

Re: window channel
If you find some please let me know. I also have the one piece window kit and refuse to install the outer trim. It looks like crap.

Re: window channel
The only idea I could come up with is to remove the clips from the stock rubber trim and install them on the new rubber trim. This will secure the rubber to where the wing window once was. The only issue is trying to secure the area where the wing window used to be. I can't understand how they make such a nice product and skimp on details.

Re: window channel
No they do not. They should be at least 1/4 inches wider to make contact with the glass. I called one piece and asked them about this when I installed the windows. They said it doesn't matter if it touches the glass thats why you have drain holes in the bottom of your doors. That answer is bulls*#t to me. I have been looking at other cars and trucks to find a seal that will look good and touch the glass.

Re: window channel
I took the outer channel for a Blaser tailgate and cut it to fit. For the inside I used the inside channel from the 88-97 C/K which is stapled to the door panel. You could also use the inside channel fron the Blaser tailgate and cut it to fit.

Re: window channel
Sorry no pics. The Blaser tailgate pieces mount just like the door pieces, they just need to be shortened. I got new ones from LMC.

Re: window channel
I wonder, are the run channels that goes inside the window frame of these blazers, the same as the door window run channels... they would be long enough

Re: window channel
I don't know if this is what your asking about. But, I just did all my door and window rubber including run channel with Precision brand and was happy with the outcome and quality of their products. I don't have one piece though.
I even made the Facebook page of the window tint place I went thru. Here's their pic from their site.
