Picture of my 'other' love

Took this photo this morning and thought it looked cool, so figured I'd share it. It's not a GTO, Firebird, Grand Prix, Catalina, Bonneville, Executive, or wagon. And it came from the factory with a 427. So that oughta confuse some folks! The alternator location makes it 69 or later (and it is indeed a 69).

2+2, though I cheated by using the Grande Parisienne grille (actually, I used an NOS pair of Bonneville grille halves, but don't tell the Canadians). So Grande Parisienne would actually be right, but it's a 2+2.

See the Bonneville SD thread right around here, I don't want to re-post the photos and look too self-absorbed...

Ohhh I see hahaha don't tell the Canadians lol. Either way beautiful car Dave! Theirs a 66 Grand Parisienne on craigslist I've seen in our area that's a 2door 2+2 I believe but not sure with the original 396. An a buddy of mine is trying to swing a 58 Laurentian that had an Lt1/4l60e swap done to it that's up in B.C.

Hey these are very rare cars down here an the Bonneville thread would be the perfect place to see more of these!

I don't know too much about the Pontiacs of Canada but I'm learning about them more an more.

Re: Picture of my 'other' love

And why 116 as the license plate? That's what it had in '69. Here's me and my Dad putting the plates on in 1969/1970 and me and my oldest son doing it in 2001. We try to take the photo every year (four kids now).
