2nd seat hold down brackets.

Can someone post some pictures of the 2nd seat in a 69 suburban? This is driving me nuts! Also, a picture of the correct seat? Thank you. If the info is already posted, please share the link. I have tried searching but havent had any luck.

Re: 2nd seat hold down brackets.

What in particular are you researching?
The front legs, or the front leg hold down clamps?
The rear legs?

Thanks for the reply. Im looking for the 2nd seat front bracket and what attaches it to the floor. I have seat that looks right but the brackets will not mount to floor in any original holes and I believe it is too tall. I dont want to drill any holes that are nor original.

Not the best picture of the hold down bracket but reproductions are available.

Re: 2nd seat hold down brackets.

You don't need to drill any holes.
As you can see from Bigdav160's photo, it is a single bolt clamp and can be ordered from many of the truck places.

How about you post a picture of the seat you are working with, it could be something different and that is why you are scratching your head on this.

Re: 2nd seat hold down brackets.

Thanks guys. After looking at the picture, the one I have is the right pattern but the brackets are completely different. Im thinking this one is out of a van of the same era. If I can figure out how to posta picture, I will. Forgive me, Im not really tech savvy! Thanks again for the help. I appreciate it.

Re: 2nd seat hold down brackets.

Sure the brackets aren't mounted backwards? I've seen the brackets attached that way; by accident I'm sure.

Yep, that is not a 67-72 Suburban second or third row bench seat.
