The minor cracks in the cup holder were fixed with J.B. weld.
The MAJOR hole and crack you see were too big for J.B. weld so I got some galvinized sheet metal,cut it and bent it so it followed the contour of the bottom and inside of the console. I then rivited it in place sandwiching the orig. console bottom between the two sheets of metal. I then sprayed it with the SEM dye/paint. Here I've bent up the sheet meatal to conform to the bottom of the console. ![]() Bottom done. ![]() Here's the metal plate I cut up for the inside. ![]() I've painted it here with the SEM dye/paint.You can JUST see the rivits I used to attach the two metal sheets together. ![]()
