Re: ghost from the past GMC
I appreciate all three but they would be a lot of work to restore

Re: ghost from the past GMC
Other than the loss of paint and some surface rust, which might not be that bad seeing they are in Texas, they just may could be good restore-ables.

Very cool! Looks like they've been there awhile, hopefully someone will save 'em.

Re: ghost from the past GMC
I like the sleeper on the GMC. I sometimes wish I would have been born 20 years earlier so I could have herded those kind of rigs over the old route 66. Who knows maby I did in a past life?

Re: ghost from the past GMC
The sleeper appears to be just setting on the frame, not an integral sleeper . An aquaintance still has an integral sleeper GMC 900 in the Catskills of New York . It was used to power a sawmill for years .Driveshaft was hooked direct to the saw mandrel.

These trucks are at a salvage yard. the owner wont sell them but he wont crush them either. He just has his own collection of old trucks.

Re: ghost from the past GMC
If it is CTC, it is one interesting place. Mostly cars I believe, but the place is quite large and they specialize in antique parts.
