Factory Stepside ShortBox K20 - Brochure pic!
I was browsing through the excellent Slosh Brochure site as I like to do from time to time, when I stumbled across an image that just didn't make sense to me - a 1980 Chevy short box K20 4x4. Check out the attached pic, and tell me that doesn't look like a short box. Of course, you could get the K20 in the 131" wheelbase stepside (but I'll bet not many), but according to the GM Heritage Center info that just wasn't offered.
OK, I'm not much of a stepside fella, so maybe to others it is obvious the brochure picture is clearly a long bed, but it sure looks like a short bed to me. Or is the step behind the cab an obvious clue?

The top pic looks like a long bed stepper to me. The pic below is clearly a short...which makes it a little confusing.

The K20 in the pic is a long bed step.
They used a K10 in the pic below to show the features of the K series. |

What about the rear bumper? Looks like a fleetside step bumper?
I think its a shortbed... Why? Look at the lenght of the step vs the gas door lenght...(which is a known lenght) |
