I'll be watching this thread really really close!!
Because I wan't a set VERY BAD!! And I was told that they were discontinued, and you couldnt get them any more. So if someone knows otherwise, please share the info!! I would guess that if you could find them, they would run close to $200 EA wheel. Darren

You can contact Alcoa directly, they will send you a complete catalog of your choice. 1-800-242-9898 or 1-216-641-3600. They do not sell direct, but will be able to assist you in finding a dealer in your area.

Why not just find some old American or Western aluminum slots at the swap meets and have them polished. I have a set of 7x15 (5 on 5) and a set of 8.5 x 15 (6 on ? for my '67). They are usually pretty reasonable at the swap meets.

The trouble with getting vintage ones, besides cuts and bends (which some you can't see with the naked eye) is that the 8 lug wheels will be 16.5 instead of 16 inch.
Go price 16.5's and you'll understand. It is friken crazy. |

yeah all of those vintage slots I have seen for 8 lug applications are 16.5". that narrows down your tire selection alot.
check ebay, is all i can say. if you are so inclined, the aluminum wheels that come on new Silverado HD trucks are made by Alcoa, contracted out to GM. You can find takeoffs of these fairly easy online, for cheap too.

I purchased a set of 6 lug Challengers a while back, great deal to! I got a number from Desert Rat of a place that had pretty much bought up all the existing stock. I will see if I can dig up the invoice if you are interested. They did not have the center caps and they were tough to find also.
