Need a picture of hatch support mounted on hatch

The body shop is finishing up on my blazer. One thing that I noticed that the hatch supports have a lip on the the outside edge. Is that lip suppose to seat down into the outside edge of the hatch. Right now the outer lip is causing the hatch supports to stand off the hatch slightly (not flush with the hatch). Any pictures would be greatly appreciated

Re: Need a picture of hatch support mounted on hatch

Greatly appreciate the pix warbucket! I was just checking out your progress and pictures and noticed the exact same picture. I hope you don't mind if I sent that picture to my body guy. I have a couple of questions you may be able to help me with. On the roof where the hatch hinges go in to wasn't there a grommet or seal of some sort? Also the blazer I have has cut down truck doors, I have found a complete set or two of the brass and stainless steel door stops. My problem is that there are no holes in the door or door pillar above the door catch plate for the door stops. Is there a location measurement somewhere so I know where to mount these.
Thank you again for the pix and keep up the good work! One nice looking rig you got

On the top there is a rubber seal that is held in by a metal retainer, you can almost see it in the first pic above. Also in this one.

I can get some pic of the inner pillar hole location and some measurements, I haven't installed mine yet but the holes in the pillar are original.
