Chevy Pickup Truck Champion 3 Row Aluminum Radiator 1955-1959 + Shroud / 16" Fan

anyone using this radiator? it looks like a good deal but I am not sure if this will work with my 5.3 motor. 1300cfm doesn't seem like a lot.

Mine is an American Eagle but is made by the same company as the Champion. I think the American Eagle might have a little bigger core but I'm not sure. I have a Champion in one of my other cars. They are good quality.

I thought they charged a too much for the shroud so I didn't get it from them. I also didn't want a cheaper no-name fan so I bought a 16" Maradyne. I took the radiator and fan to a shop and they custom made the shroud for $80.

I have it on my turbo ls motor with out the shroud, has a transmission cooler and intercooler in front of it and cools plenty fine with two 12" fans

I have that one without the shroud in my 1949 and it works great for my SBC.

I have that radiator in my 1952, Ditch the weak fan and go with a good spahl or mechanical. It keeps my nasty little small block 190 even cruisin in ocean city MD traffic during the car show...
