can i pull just steering shaft?
ok so i restored my trucks column pretty dang nice. steering wheel still attached to the steel shaft that goes through the middle of the entire column.
i went through the entire hassle of putting the column into the truck, and forgot to slide the steering shaft into the midle of the column. my truck does not have a front clip on it. can i just remove the steering wheel and slide it in and through from the bottom of the column where the lower bearing is sitting in?(i wouldnt see why not?) kind of a odd question, but worth asking incase someones done this?
