1970 c10 sb build thread.

I just got a new truck yesterday. I traded my 442 for this 70 c10. I put the value of the car around 6500 so I hope the truck is worth that much. It has a wild 350 in it with patriot freedom heads a holley carb and a gear drive. Lol a th350 and i havent figured out the gearing yet. But the speedo is off 7-10 mph. it has rust on the door skins rockerd corners and cab mounts. The bed is rusty in the floor and the wheel wells and the 2 inner bed mount rails
I get 10mpg highway right now. I have a ton of questions and maybe you guys can help me out. The front wheels dont fit and hit the a arms when turned too far. I would like the stock steel wheel with hubcap look with whitewalls. What size wheels tires/should I look for? I would like to put a tach in the car and since the ignition was removed I was wondering if I could put one of those sunpro ones in that whole. I also need to identify the seats and center console so that I can get new covers for them. Well that is a start, let me know if you think it was a good deal.

I also need a breather for that head. The truck is pushing a ton of oil out of those breathers and I dont know why. Then I lost one after adding oil.

Not a bad old truck. I like that cab color. I had a Pete Jackson gear drive in my Malibu once, dang that thing was loud!
