Added another to lineup 1968 stepper
This is a local truck to me, bought new from Newzum Chevrolet in 68. Rundown is straight 6, powerglide tranny, hydro assist steering. Latest upgrades are 1 wire alternator, hei dizzy, MSD wires, new plugs, reman carb and some 6 lug smoothies I had laying around that were for a previous build that was changed up. As for rust the typical rockers, cab corners and inner rockers are pretty eat up as well as inner roof on driverside. So as of now I have picked up new floor pan, rockers, cab corners and a inner roof patch. Plans for now are to ditch the ram assist and install full power steering, pancake front member, 2.5" drop spindles and bring the back down where it sets level and will probably go back to factory steelies and caps. Interior will be original red and paint will be original red with white roof. Here is a pic of the day the owner pulled it from warehouse

Re: Added another to lineup 1968 stepper
Got the front saddle mostly welded up today and decided to clean garage. If anyone has a passenger lower a arm laying around is like to get one so I can build up my front end before installation.

Decided to change the wheels up a little, got one of the center caps mounted up and adjusted drum brakes
