Carb Help on 292 I6 in 64
I have gotten to the point in my never ending list of projects that it is time to get my dad's 64 GMC back on the road. I got the engine running after sitting for several months with zero issues but I would like to fix an issue that has been a problem for quite a while. The little bracket that goes across the top of carb fell off and now I don't really have a way to the factory air cleaner. Where is a good place to get a new one? I would hate to replace the carb because of one tiny part. FYI the engine is a '72 292 but I believe the intake and carb are from the original 64 I6.

Looks correct for a '64 carb. It's a model B Rochester, BTW. Here's a link to one place that has them (google search): http://quadrajetparts.com/rochester-...01-p-1020.html
