Pulling the trigger on some tires ASAP. Have some questions before

I'm getting ready to buy some tires for my boss 338's and I have a few Q's before. So I have a 4/6 ECE drop kit, and I dont currently have the bed on either. Just the cab.
Ive seen numerous folks that are running 255/40/20 and 295/40/20 in the rear on an 8.5" rim on the front and 10" rim on the rear. The 8.5 rim is 5.25 bs and rear is 5.5 bs

Do I have anything I should worry about? Do I need any sort of measurements?
Or should I be safe in just buying them?
Thanks in advance!
