Differences between C10 and C20 cab mounts?

I need new cab mount bushings for my 71 GMC C20 and one site shows that they are all the same and LMC shows different pieces for the C20.

Does anyone know exactly what the differences are?

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

The C-20 rear bushings are taller because the frame brackets sit lower on the frame.

Might want to take a look at the factory manuals.

* VIN/Model Decoders
* Power Team Charts (engine/transmission/gear ratio)
* Post Your Pickup SPID Blazer SPID Suburban/Panel SPID
* RTFM
... Read The Factory Manuals... download 'em here

Thank, that clears that up pretty well.

Thanks LockDoc, I'm ordering bushings for my C20 cab on my C10 frame so it seems I need only the C10 mounts for a good fit.

It's a 68 C10 chassis with a 68 C20 cab.

Re: Differences between C10 and C20 cab mounts?

I believe you'll find the cab is the same, it's the mounts on the frame that are mounted differently as LockDoc said. So you order the bushings for the frame.
So if you have a C10 frame & a C20 cab you order C10 bushings !

That would be correct. The cabs are all the same the frame is the only difference....

Re: Differences between C10 and C20 cab mounts?

The factory drawing for the C-KA10 is incorrect in the fact that they included the Ks in the mix. All 4X4s whether they are 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton had the taller rear cab mount pictured in the C-KA20/30 drawing. WES
