The hubcaps on your truck are 1976 and newer aluminum caps, the correct "PO3" chromed hubcaps look like this. One cap has some black paint trim missing for some reason. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960s-1970s-...99906c&vxp=mtr

I thought I would give an update on what I have done on my '69 LWB since my last post.

I have replaced the ball joints and the tie rod ends and all of the shocks. I also replaced all of the body mounts. It is unbelievable how bad the body mounts were, and thanks to all of the great advice I found on the forum all of those jobs went pretty smooth.

I drove it to the body shop today to get the body work done and a new coat of paint. Here are a pictures of the truck now

I finally have gotten back to work on my 69. Over the last few weeks I have pulled the wood out of the bed, stripped the dash and have removed all of the exterior trim because I decided to get a fresh coat of paint put on it.
I was really surprised that the only rust on it was the passenger side cab corner.
I received my first shipment of parts yesterday, some trim and bed stripes, that was pretty cool!!!!!

Appears that you only have one side tri-pold mirror. Was the original passenger side removed? I have essentially the same hub caps on my 69 C10 that may have come from a later model truck as the "bow tie" is yellow/gold rather than blue. If you decide to do something different on the outside mirror, I might be interested.

The truck is in really great condition, only rust is pass side cab corner, the pass rocker is banged up and the rear driver side quarter panel needs some work. Other than that jus the usual dings and dents of a 45 year old all original truck.
I plan on getting the dents and dings fixed painted back original with new trim then redo the interior, but my first job is to repair the front end, new ball joints, tie rods and shocks. All are pretty well worn.
I enjoy reading the forum every day to get tips and ideas for repairs.
