Need Help - What is the correct leaf spring (pics)

I ordered a set of new original OEM style leaf springs from http://www.generalspringkc.com/product_p/22-384.htm

I didn't realize something was off until I tried installing new bushings from Off Road Designs.. I told ORD that I had the original stock leaf springs.

The old springs width measures at 3in, where as the new ones I ordered are 2 1/2.. which I guess is OEM?

So here's what I'm trying to figure out.. Are the new springs (2 1/2in width) the correct size and are these bushing supposed to fit like the picture below.

The first pictures is the new spring with the new bushings from ORD. The 2nd picture is the old springs with the new bushings from ORD.. As you can see if the 2nd picture (old springs) there is a slight gap in the bushings.. I'm really confused as to what is correct and what is not..

I figured it out. The PO had to have switched the original springs out at one point because to 72 K5s had 3in wide leaf springs. The 2 1/2 are the correct ones and those bushings will fit right.
