Cab lights....

My truck does not have them, but I'd like to find some aftermarket kit and install them. Any suggestions? I'd prefer LED's.

If you have pictures that's a plus! Thanks fellas!

Re: Cab lights....

Most aftermarket ones I've seen don't look quite right on our trucks. I'd find a set of factory ones from a junkyard, they look the best. I'm sure there are people on this board that converted the clearance lights to LED, too.

LMC sells a nice set in both regular and LED.

Re: Cab lights....

On the subject, how is the wring on these run? I know they are ground through the headlight switch but where did the power come from and route to?

Re: Cab lights....

The black wire should be your ground, and you're correct, it runs into the cluster that plugs into the back of your headlight switch. The other wire goes directly to the fuse box.

Re: Cab lights....

Fuse panel assuming it goes up the A-pillar to lights, back down pillar to light switch. Ordering new wiring harbess, led lights from lmc link above (THANKS texasjeff!) and wana do it right.
