Re: 400 rwhp and 20+ mpg?
You would have to find a 67-68 hood to make it fit properly, or you could modify that one to work but imo the 67-68 hood would make it look real nice

Re: 400 rwhp and 20+ mpg?
You can get good fuel mileage and be able to make big horsepower, you won't be able to get good fuel mileage while making big horsepower.
Small(ish) cu.in. well prepared motor + turbocharger(s) + EFI + reasonable gear ratios can get you the ability to make big horsepower and get good fuel mileage. |

Re: 400 rwhp and 20+ mpg?
I think this thread might be the ultimate pi**ing match. When you combine HP numbers, and MPG's into one thread, its destined to be good. But, you start throwing in who has the most beautiful wife or daughter, and it becomes legendary!

Nitrous? Turbo?
I have a 5.3 turbo 500 hp to the rear wheels with a T56, bout as close as you are going to get. I can push 18ish. I guess I can work on the tune and maybe squeeze anther one out of it but it is tough.
