Dr's Appointment for the Sierra
So, I'm bringing my '05 K-1500 into my garage tomorrow for a day of therapy. On the agenda:
1. Right Front brake rotor. 2. Raise the front end with new torsion bar keys. 3. Install new front shocks - Ranchos. 4. New rear brake pads. 5. Oil Change. 6. New Air filter. 7. New plugs. 8. Try to clean the grounds for the ABS sensors so that the infernal abs light goes off. Good thing I'm on holidays! Any advice?

Past: '05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner. '94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

Re: Dr's Appointment for the Sierra
An alignment after you raise the front of the truck. Might wanna try cranking the bars with factory keys before you go through the trouble of replacing them.
What abs codes are you getting? |
