Did you fall down and hit your head? I think that you should go to the doctor and get checked out! Why??????????????????????????

No seriously, Scouts are super cool, but no where as cool as a 1st gen Blazer or Jimmy IMO. What are you going to do to it?

Hope you at least have another Chevy of some kind, only one Scout picture allowed. Still cool Scout though.

Re: SOLD MY BLAZER....Bye

Wow that's a crazy trade Up. That blazer was awesome. Looked to be all done up and restored too. The scouts are fun too. Not worth nearly as much as the first gen blazers that I've seen. Both are getting Rarer to see around anymore though. A lot of scouts I've seen also have Chevy drivetrains transplanted in. Much easier to Find parts for. Good luck with the new ride. I almost bought a scout before I found my blazer. I'm glad I held out even though the scout I was looking had a 75 blazer drivetrain. So would have been half Chevy half international. Would have Been a good compromise.

So now that you freaked everyone out on the Chevy site, what are your plans with the Scout.

Re: SOLD MY BLAZER....Bye

Hey Congrats on the new ride. Glad you were able to get another ride after selling the Blazer as sometimes people have to do other things with the money they get. Sometimes we all need to change things up and at the end of the day you are the most important person to please with your choice of ride. There are not as many Scouts out there (just like 1st gen Blazers) so its not like having a classic that there will be 10 of them at every car show you go to. Youve owned a (beautiful) first gen Blazer and have good taste in autos so Im sure the Scout will be nothing short of amazing when you do your things to it. Good luck!

Re: SOLD MY BLAZER....Bye

when I was in high school I was cleaning out an old trailer full of parts at my fathers garage, and we junked a ton of scout parts all motor. I cant tell you the last time I saw a scout in my area, but I don't see any blazers around here either.

Re: SOLD MY BLAZER....Bye

I sold the Blazer for twice what I paid for the Scout guys. Long story short. I had 8 compression Fractures in my back and 4 broken ribs off road racing. Doc says I will never ride a dirt bike again. But I can go 4X4n. Blazer was For Sale 2 years guys....I was in no hurry as I enjoyed it and was not going to lower the price.

Re: SOLD MY BLAZER....Bye

Seeing your Scout brought back great memories of my 63 Scout, which is cool that is still looks a lot like your newer one, I went and looked at it and the guy has 3 newer scouts and my old 63 which is in fair condition, but won't sell it rt now. He thinks he is going to fix up all the cars and trucks he is hourding, which a quick count is over 50. So prob not happening to any of them. Keep us posted on your changes with the Scout.

In the end, the material things really don't matter much. With your history (broken body) you're smart to think about the future.

You have probably healed, but trust me, all that will come back to haunt you some day when you are much older.

If the Scout is what you like and want, who is anyone else to question it?

Good luck with it and don't look back!

Wow, I just couldn't imagine selling my Blazer (or 70 SW, or 72 Burb)! I know my kids would kill me if I did.
