If you don't want the higher pressure, remove the spring shim or drop to the next size down spring depending on the oil pump brand.

True I have a high volume high pressure on my 454 and it runs over 60, but this one is a stock 350 with the stock oil pump. It should only be between 30-40 at idel.

and , I pulled the wire from the sensor to the gauge, the gauge still pegged without the motor running.
