72 Bucket seat rod
Need to get a seat adjustment rod for a driver side bucket seat. Can someone measure the length of theirs? I will probably have to fabricate one. Any photos of the ends?

Re: 72 Bucket seat rod
I have several and will get pics later today if nobody else does. If you can't locate one a coathanger cut to fit works perfectly

Re: 72 Bucket seat rod
Hi Leddzepp, we are talking about the actual lever or handle, not the piece that connects between the two seat tracks. I believe there are two rivets that secure it to the frame and this is where they always break. Thanks.

Re: 72 Bucket seat rod
I believe you are talking about a buddy bucket adjustment lever (since it looks like a rod). It attaches with two rivets, but he is asking about a 72 which leads me to believe it is the connecting rod that he is talking about. Either way I have both and will post pics of either or both if I get clarification. The seat adjustment lever on a 72 bucket is on one rivet that pivots.
