Just a thought if you plan on drag racing.
The tech people frown on the fuel pressure regulator mounted on the fire wall.

And its coming together nicely.

Re: Operation Enduring Freedom Truck build

Well I finally got to take my truck home only to get 3 miles down the street from the shop when the right head gasket blows and starts pumping white smoke out of the right tail pipe.
Which would explain why my coolant system keep getting pressurized while we were tuning the fast efi. So now I maybe selling off my truck pretty soon.

Re: Operation Enduring Freedom Truck build

Well I have to see how bad it is, if its more then a grand I'll have to get rid of the truck.

I just can't afford dumping more money into it.

Re: Operation Enduring Freedom Truck build

Well,
Here's an update. My truck is now home after leaving the shop on a flat bed after spending $15,000.00 and waiting a year and a half all I got was jerked around by the shop owner. ie I wanted a TCI trans and converter heck I paid for it but what I got was some fly by night tranny shop POS that doesn't work. Plus on further inspection of the paint job I have noticed a ton of runs and burn thru's, and of course there was the deal with the engine smoking.

So this is what I get for a year in Afghanistan and $15,000.00 dollars.

Re: Operation Enduring Freedom Truck build

Interested, what are you looking to get for it, and what all does it come with (anything other than what FAST provided)?

Thanks,
