Re: '66 Longbed 327 w/AC project

Well, i think i can call it "done" for now. This winter, drop the saddle tanks and paint them a little better, drop the evap box and make two better lines for it, and drop the tranny and have rebuilder put new synchros in to fix 2nd gear.

It's been cleaned and detailed, rattle canned underneath some overspray areas, and, finally, the decals are on. Crap, i forgot i need floormats. OK, done except floormats. And the one front bump stop that fell out. OK, except those two things. Going to hit the all chevy show tomorrow at summit if anyone wants to stop by.

Also, i found a pretty decent paint run on the hood that no one has noticed yet. I'm not telling where.

Congats. That thing is a show stopper, beautiful throughout. Now you are getting rewarded for all your work. I would spend a lot of time looking at that truck if I were at a show like that. Nice restoration and attention to detail.
