bed mounting bolts question

Anyone know where to find stainless steel bed to frame mounting bolts for a fleet side long bed. I can only find steel ones. If you have any tips that i could use to just prevent my bolt from rusting ill just get the steel. Also on 4 of the 8 bolts the last owner spun out the square hole that holds the bolt in place. how would you fix this. the only ways i can think of is buying a washer with the square hole and welding it into the spot.

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Re: bed mounting bolts question

I remember a ways back (years ago) someone on here using bed bolts from a new Ford truck that had a Torx head?
Didn't matter if the hole was rounded out!

Re: bed mounting bolts question

I'm thinking of maybe just bringing the bolts to my dads work and having him matching Allen wrench holes I. The head. That would be awesome.

Re: bed mounting bolts question

IIRC, the GM bolts are slightly different Thant he hardware store versions...I think the GM ones have a larger "square". If going that route, bring one and compare closely. To fix the rounded off hole, I would try to weld it back and file it square again.
