1971-72 foot operated Parking Brake

My parking brake assembly doesnt seem to be fitting correctly, it bolts to the firewall just fine but the hole doesnt line up for the dash bolt out on the leading edge.
Could someone take a picture of their dash in the place its suposed to bolt to both from the top through the gague cluster hole and the bottom up under the dash and post it for me please.
Thanks in advance.

So you're changing from a hand operated to a foot operated.
Probably no holes existing cause it's a 68. You'll need to drill some holes.

I should have stated that I changed it out to a 1971 Cab, this isnt a numbers matching truck so I didnt think it was important to keep the cab a 1968.

Re: 1971-72 foot operated Parking Brake

I hate the "please help be but if I solve it I'm not telling anyone else how" posts.

FWIW, the factory assembly manual has dimensions and locations for almost everything, but these weren't optional so were never drilled on the line, and I'm not sure they'd be in there.

Fwiw??? Huh? Yes, they werent there on the 67-68's and the grommet hole is way off and some cut/ welds are made, nothing hard...and INCREDIBLY intriguing finding out all the little things that set our trucks apart.... im tying them alll in with my 68
