Now that the engine valve problems seem to be sorted out, I'd like to solve a transmission problem.

Every Chev I've ever had with three on the tree has spent some time stuck between gears (Not my first car, a 1938 coupe with floor shift).

I remember the late fifties when every rod magazine had several ads for floor shift conversions. Managed to get most of a floor shift setup supposed to fit a Chev 1/2 ton. Anybody out there have installation instructions for the Chev side shift transmission?

I'm planning to get under and take photos of the lever position in each gear and maybe figure out the linkage hookup, but instructions would sure save me lots of lost motion.
