tbi help? dizzy help? ecm?
my dads work van has died. so he calls me and tells me that as he was going down the road it started to sputter miss and then ran on a few cly then dieded and will not restart. tryed a new coil no go. so went and got my meter and can not get any power out of it. i do have 12v to it tho. could be inj mod or i temp senser i read some where?? any help or tips plz say them and also tell me how to test this crap lol. thanks guys

What year is it? What code exactly? Did you pull the codes right after the problem?

its a 95 with 350. the code for the cat has been there over a year that we have had the truck and god knows how long before. truck came form fl with newer motor and headers with no cats on either side. i cant pull the code now as i have no scaner anymore and no there is no parts store on this bs island.

You dont need a scanner, '95 should be OBDI. And being OBDI there isn't a code for no cat. OBDII has codes for no cat.

A 1995 TBI truck will produce spark even if you remove the computer.
If the truck has no spark, fix that and don't worry about codes for now. If you get the spark fixed, and it will not start, and you want to pull codes, use this link. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=11
