peal and seal or something is what Ive seen. But I dont know about that stuff. Its tar based and I hear it stinks for a couple years before your cab airs out.

I used a product on my 69 Mustang called Snow and Ice I believe from Lowes. I had extra from a roofing project. It is self adhesive and I call it duct tape for houses. On top of that I used silver surfaced bubble wrap insulation. It worked well.

Brown Bread was THE substitute about 10 years ago.

I think this is what you are looking for.
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-Kin...V516/100028603

I used it in my truck. It took 4 or 5 rolls. I covered the wall behind the tank and covered the front of the tank but none in the doors. There is no noticeable odor that I could detect. However, I suggest you open a package and take a whiff.

I've used peel and seal from lowes. I foil tape all edges and seams, it might be a little overkill but there is no odor or residue leaking through on any that I've done

I've used both the lowes stuff and fat mat. Both have some kind of tar base, but I have never had a problem with odor from either one, and it gets very hot here.

I've used Fat Mat and am very happy with it. I've never had an odor problem.
