In-take fuel pump ep241 vs ep381
I'm in the parts collecting stage gearing up for an 01 4.8l swap into my 83 silverado, and need some info for the in-take pump.
I have been searching for info on pumps for the swap, and the two that are recommended the most are the ac delco ep241 and ep381. From with I've read it looks like both are capable of the 58 psi needed, I'm mostly looking for some pro and cons on each. Thanks |

Re: In-take fuel pump ep241 vs ep381
The ep241 will flow 40gph and is capable of around 60-70psi
The ep381 will flow 50gph and is capable of around 80-90 psi Both are good budget replacements and will work with a LS. The decision is what are your needs in regards to fueling. |

Thank for the reply, it's just going to be a stock 4.8l with a return type fuel system.

Re: In-take fuel pump ep241 vs ep381
get the ep381 with the supplied short piece of hose, it's specific for intank useage. get specific efi hose clamps, don't use normal worm drive clamps, as they eventually will cut the hose and it will take some diagnosis why your fuel pressure is low (spraying inside your tank from improper clamps).
