I'll keep me eyes open at the salvage yards for you Pete. Would you think a 73 and up Dana 44 front would be the same?

I'll take that for my K20 if you aren't using it! These are found on the front diff affixed by the bolt near the 7:00 position.

Re: Needed please: Metal tag for axle stamped 3.73
I am guessing the numbers on top are the tooth count on the gear set?

Re: Needed please: Metal tag for axle stamped 3.73
I couldn't locate 3.73 (or 4.10) repops on EBay or elsewhere...I don't believe these ratios are repopped but would like to be wrong.

Re: Needed please: Metal tag for axle stamped 3.73
That is correct. The two numbers are divided to get the gear ratio. If you ever have a gear set and don't know the ratio, divide the count of the ring gear teeth and the count of the pinion gear teeth to get the gear ratio.

Re: Needed please: Metal tag for axle stamped 3.73
Problem is the repros are for the Mopar guys with Dana 60s thus the wierd to us ratios like 3.23 or 3.91.
Saw a 4.10 tag though. Pretty sure there are more. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Plymou...-/370942960060 Haven't looked but you might try Quad 4x4 they sell all sorts of front drive axle, trans and t-case parts.

Re: Needed please: Metal tag for axle stamped 3.73
Thanks Tim - not sure how I missed the 4.10 tag. These cause drag at highway speeds so anyone who has one of these is better off selling it to me with regard to gas mileage.

LoL I literally laughed. Ill sale you mine I don't have an attachment to it. Plus I'm putting an LSX in for better gas milage. And then a supercharger for better aerodynamics.
