Ebay stainless headers
Has any one tried these?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-St...c380cd&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/SBC-Chevy-19...85a1bf&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-St...65f090&vxp=mtr Looks like all the same header from different places. Not sure if it is the same set from this old thread? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...+steel+headers I would be using them on a 4x4 86 to replace rusted out steel ones. thanks |

Re: Ebay stainless headers
I bought a set to break in my small block. They are the 88-98 truck headers with the o2 bung. I would use them any day over the mild steel headers. In the last pic you can see them turning blue and gold. They are even worse now on the color change but no warping or cracking after about 3 good heat cycles. Hell, between the fresh 113 heads and how straight the flanges are on the headers, im not even running gaskets other than on the collector. Even with that said, buy good gaskets, the ones sent are very crappy.
