Inner rear enders on 50-54 panel or suburban

Im wondering if anyone knows where you can buy the inner curved fender metal that you see in some early chevy truck beds. I have a '52 panel that the previous owner cut the inside rear fenders off of. He then pretty much "tubbed" it out on each side due to how they mounted the coil spring mounts for the rear they installed. I ripped out the coil springs and put in air bags. So, now, i want the inside of the bed (enclosed body) area to look original with the curved inner fenders. And a beautiful wood floor. I was thinking someone sells them for different model pickup truck beds and that might work. Maybe someone has a donor/parts suburban or panel and would cut the majority of it out and sell them. I dont know. Thanks for any input.

Re: Inner rear enders on 50-54 panel or suburban

I scarfed this pic from a build thread. What i want to be able to do is restore the curved fender inside the body (people compartment) to somewhat original look vs. the redneck previous owners tubbed look. Thanks for looking

Re: Inner rear enders on 50-54 panel or suburban

There are no reproduciton inner rear fedners that I am aware of for a AD panel or Suburban. I have a 53 Chevy Suburban. Even if you found one to remove them from in most cases they might be roted away. This area as I'm sure you are aware is known to rust bad.

If it were me I would post a WTB lising on this site as well as stovebolt in the parts section or look to modify some other truck or panel inner fenders that have a simular look

While not original later model fleetside would fool most people. 1960 on are repopped:

Or you might find used 58-59, they look the same as 1960 but I have never measured to see if they are the same...

I agree w Orrie solution but you may look at several years to see what is best fit. I have a 49 Burb and have never seen a repop interior wheelwell or exterior fender either. . Burb parts are hard to find as they did not make enough for the aftermarket folks to reproduce. Go over to stovebolt.com and post a wanted ad and you may get lucky. Goog luck with the build.

The ones I removed from my Burb are in nice shape. Hanging onto them until I know I don't need them.

Re: Inner rear enders on 50-54 panel or suburban

There is a burb in the area guy wants $600 for. Post like this tempt me to buy it just for parts. Problems are I don't have room or time to tear it down and it has been in the north east forever....so you can guess the shape

Can imagine. Buddy looked at one for $1,200 here and took a pass as it was way too rusty.
