I plan to swap mine out when I find a donor axle. I've got a donor truck spotted, gotta try to trade my buddy out of it.

I have a 70 open knuckle. I swapped the knuckles out on my truck then also changed to power brakes. The thing stops pretty darn good but I wouldn't do the swap without adding a booster.

That should work. Just make sure the perch widths are the same. The perches were the same between my open knuckle and the 75 axle I bought. I just didn't want to mess with changing out gears and everything.

Is there reason why you are wanting to swap axles? Can't find parts, strength or just would prefer disc brakes? If you can't find parts I have the complete 75 dana 44 with my drum knuckles and good drum brake parts which may be the same.

yea the parts are not as easy to get ahold of and i prefer the stopping power of discs plus the turning radius on the closed knuckle is pretty crappy.
