Should I swap?
I have a 67 front clip and debating if I should put it on my 69shorty... I really can't decide if it will hurt the value or increase it. I love the slanted hood and the grill but make up my mind. Would you do it and would you buy a truck with the wrong year clip? Just asking opinions... not selling yet?

Re: Should I swap?
If you're thinking of reselling it, then you should probably leave it. If you're thinking of keeping it and making it your own, upgrade to the slant nose.

Re: Should I swap?
Do it. Lol I would but then again I have a hatred for 69/70 fronts. Your decision. If you have a fleet bed id fill the side marker lights too so it looks right. And would I buy a clipped truck? H*** yes I would lol

Re: Should I swap?
the 67 nose is the most popular that alone should give you the answer the guy who designed the 67 quit gm when they changed the nose on him and went on to create matchbox cars just a little history

Keeping it? Do it. Selling it? Don't.

Re: Should I swap?
if the clip was fine, and original for the truck or correct 69 for 69 truck id keep it. if the situation came that i needed to replace the clip id just do the 67

Re: Should I swap?
This. Would I buy a later truck with a '67 clip? If it was done right, you bet I would. I think it's the best-looking of the bunch.

Re: Should I swap?
I don't plan on selling anytime soon... But if the time comes never say never.
When I bought it 12 years ago I loved the 69 over the 72s, after awhile I started really wanting a 67, so now I have a 67 clip too. Just can't make up my mind. My thoughts were would someone else buy 69 with 67 clip or not. By the way everything is slick... No moldings, handles, emblems, markers or gas cap either. Still can't decide.

Re: Should I swap?
I would if I wasn't already getting a 68, which will have shaved markers fill and door locks.

Re: Should I swap?
So it's already modified.... what difference does it make if the front clip is changed? With that out of the way, do whatever you want and don't give a moment's thought to what anyone else thinks.
