New lift, wheels and tires
I have wanted a lift for my truck ever since I bought it in March. I looked at allot of lifts and hated how most of them dropped the torsion bars down (not my cup of tea). I finally found a lift that wouldn’t drop the torsion bars down. So I did allot of research making sure this was the one for me, so I pulled the trigger 2 weeks ago and had to wait for it to come in and get installed. Well last Friday it got done just in time for the bow hunt and I could not be happier. Ride quality did not change much. I am running 315/70r17 BFG AT and KMC XD Addicts with a rough country non torsion drop 6 inch lift. Well here are the pics hope you like them.

Re: New lift, wheels and tires
Looks good. how does it do towing that trailer, and how often do you tow? I tow a lot with my 02' and I am looking for a moderate lift and 35's. I like to keep the truck as close to the way it drives now. I have multiple trailers that I tow from the smallest bumper pulls to big goose necks and 40' enclosed bumper pull. What shocks did you go with?
Thanks, jack

Re: New lift, wheels and tires
I dont tow that much. That trailer just stays at my Dad's property. But the ride quality is about the same (I was surprised). Power wise I would say I lost some but now I just use the tow haul button more and that makes up the difference. I have not yet done anything with the motor. In the near future I will be adding the airaid jr kit, k&n filter, black bear tune and corvette servo. I will be towing a car today though and will report on how it performed if you would like even though it isn’t much. Shocks are what came with the kit rough country N2.0 shocks people on other forums people say they ride rough and recommend billstein shocks. I see only a slight difference and it is really not that noticeable. Here is the website. I could not find a bad review other then the shocks. I have only had the kit on since Friday and already have almost 300 miles on it and have not felt a change in ride quality. Good luck and let me know if you need more info.

Re: New lift, wheels and tires
I've got quite the different setup...but reviews are appreciated. i'd probably either go with bilstiens or the rancho adjustables for what I put my truck through.

Re: New lift, wheels and tires
I towed a 1986 Nissan altama to the scrap yard yesterday. I did notice a power loss but not much. I did just buy an Airaid MIT kit and a k&n air filter, that should help a little. I will be installing it when it comes in on Thursday. Ride felt like normal under towing conditions, it did not sag like I thought it would hardly any sag at all. I will be going on a 300 round trip this weekend. If you would like I can report my results on the MIT kit and filter.
