Side Molding

Hey guys...
Trying to help one of my friends out... Her dad is restoring a 91 Full size blazer... He claimed it had a black and gold side molding that was approx. 5/8 in tall. I have looked on LMC and see black, chrome or black and chrome.
Nothing about gold... Thanks for any info in advance...

Re: Side Molding

Gold badging and trim was a brief trend in the early nineties but I don't recall seeing it stock on a K5.

Nope. No gold trim from the factory.

Re: Side Molding

Like everybody said no gold but I think know what he saw.
The chrome mylar on the '89-'91 would fade out to a gold color before it cracked. Seen it a few times.
Factory pieces for '89-'91 look like this:

Re: Side Molding
