Question about aluminum polish sealer for wheels?
I think that I remember seeing a product on trucks, or Hot rod TV, called Zoops sealer, or Zoots sealer ( not sure how to spell it).
Does someone know where you can buy this stuff. I want to polish the wheels on my new pickup, and then use this stuff to keep the shine on, once a year.

I emailed Zoops and asked them for a sample because I wanted to see if it worked like they said. The guy from Zoops is a real horses @SS. After emailing several times back and forth, I wouldn't buy their crap if it was the best thing on earth. There is a clear sealer from the company that sells POR15. I talked to a guy that had used both and he said the Zoop stuff was not near as good as advertised. He like this stuff much better.

With some good tunes, I actually enjoy polishing mine now with what I use. Think the zoops is about 100 bucks............I thought about it but passed on the idea.

What do you use (in terms of polish and tools) to polish your wheels. Mine desperatley need doing this summer. How long does it take per wheel on average?

If they are dull it takes me about a half hour per wheel. I use mothers polish and a bunch of small terry cloth rags.

California Customs............. 5 minutes per wheel and one of the best shines you can get. (Thats after you get them looking good). If you are doing a really tarnished set of wheels I would recomend the oxidizer first then purple polish. Easiest I have found.

Mountain Man,
Have your rims polished up and take them to a powder coater and ask them to clear your rims you will never have to polish again ! Period, just wipe and go ! :p That is what I will be doing when I get my new rims ! It is an investment !
