wheel question

the 64 i bought has 8 lug 15" wheels on it. they are split rims. what can i replace them with to get away from split rims. hope to haul it home in the morning then i can get some pics to post

almost any 8 lug will fit it from 16 ,16.5 17"

I doubt there are any. As with 16.5 were taken off for 16s not a lot 16.5 tires. Went to get rims for friends 79 3/4 ton the best deal was 17s. I personally can't find a chrome rim I like in 17 for my 1 Ton they all are 18 and 20 now. Do some tire shopping before you commit to rims.

I'd just go with the common-as-dirt 16" wheels that almost everything has; why would you want little 15" wheels on a 3/4 ton truck, anyway? Here are a couple of pictures of my truck with the '73-'87 16" wheels and hubcaps.
