3 Point Seat Belt Install
I purchased a set of 3 point retractable seat belts for my 66 GMC from Juliano's. I'm getting ready to install them and have some questions for those that have already gone through the process. First, for the retractor that mounts on the floor, did you use the original mounting holes for the lap belts, or does it require new holes, further forward and in line with the seat back? Second, the other end of the retractable belt has to bolt to the L-bracket with the retractor. Does it bolt to the floor side, or the upright side of the L-bracket? Thanks for any help.

Re: 3 Point Seat Belt Install
I put my retractor here, seemed to be a divot in the floor on the drivers side that it just kinda fit into.

Re: 3 Point Seat Belt Install
Thanks Dave. I was looking at that spot. Unfortunately, the retractor from Juliano's, together with the L-bracket doesn't fit in that indentation. Also, there is not a similar area on the passenger side. I think I'm going to mount them where my current lap belts are. I'll try to post some pictures when I'm done.

Re: 3 Point Seat Belt Install
Mine are from Juliano's too, but they look different than your's. Whereas my retractor is mounted to the L-bracket like yours, the other end is attached to a second bracket which then anchors to the L-bracket with the retractor. I should also note that mine are pretty old and designs may have changed. Hope you like your's as much as I like mine, and may you never have to put them to the test. Looks good!
