Re: finally got it home
well 3 hours working on it & we are driving it in the yard, no brakes of course. little PBBlaster here & there & new gas line & she started right up. every light & turn signal works good. i told my wife on our 1st trip to look at it that i`d have it running in short order. i could see the doubt in her eyes but now the look has changed to a smile as she drove it. took these pics of her driving it

Re: finally got it home
It looks like a fairly straight truck. It does have some rust issues, but the smile on your wife's face should make it all worth it.

Re: finally got it home
yes, that smile means a lot to me.shes worth every penny & all the work thats going into this truck. she loves them.
we had a nice 46 Ford that broke her heart when we had to sell it. so she is well deserving of this |

Re: finally got it home
needs a little more than meets the eye. i tore the 1970`s orange shg carpet out & will need floor pans. iv`e started the body panel list and pricing, will be ordering all wheel cylinders, brakes, rubber brake lines, brake lines. on a good note the master cylinder is good.
she isnt afraid to help so thats a plus. |
