Bumper swap '86 to '76

I have a chance to pick up a like new '86 3/4 ton rear step bumper, all brackets included, to replace a junky homemade bumper on my '76 C25. Before I put all the work into this, was hoping to get some feedback on the compatibility between these years. Is the frame the same in this area with the same hole patterns? Hoping somebody has done this before. Thanks, Rob

I think that they are the same 73-87 except suburbans of all years are wider.
I think... good luck
