Weren't you running like 14.3's with 3.08 gears?
If you have 3.73 posi now.....i would guess that you are into the 13's (but i have little real-world drag racing experience). Sounds sweet....post some times!

Jace's 68 What kind of work do you do and how long are you in b'ham? I'm about 100 miles south!
Bigjimz I love these folks that have 9 second cars but never been to the track! I test everything I own! I couldn't get my 307 to run in my 71 for super chevy so I ran my 03 duramax/allison crewcab 3/4 ton 4X4. I freaked some folks out when I went 9.78 in the eighth with that beast and its stock except for a predator programmer! Oborny71 I ran a 9.12 eighth mile and 14.31 quarter with a homemade zz4 motor with vortec heads a small stall convertor turbo 350 and 307 rear gears with cheater slicks! I tried the skinny radials but it spun all the way down the race track literally! Yellow 72 custom That's right I hope the gears pick it up allot. We also found a couple other small problems that have been corrected so I can't wait! My best local track is closed this weekend but I may try to find somewhere to run it! I can tell a major differance in the seat of pants feel! Now I got to work on the suspension but the stuff I want at a deal is about 900.00 bucks (ouch)!
