TQ was a tad more than the HP rating. If it's a worn out 40 year old engine it will need a rebuild and all the factory numbers won't matter after that. If you're planning on installing it as is... I would plan on pulling it out again later on and rebuilding it.

Unless you're trying to rebuild it to exact factory specs for a 10-point perfect restoration.

Thanks gary.... that was less than helpful. I fully understand the condition of my worn out motor and it's no where near needing a rebuild. Perhaps I just do things differently than you. I was looking for some specs to help with cam selection. I'm gonna cam my worn out pos. And run the dog poo out of if. Like I have been for the last six years. It will just be faster now.
But if I find a bunch of money I want to waste on unecessary parts I will run out and rebuild it. I'm not running at the track every weekend so stock worn out components will work, just fine.
