One Piece Windshield
I am thinking about later on adding a oneiece windshield to my '53 Chevy truck. Someone told me that the glass is distorted at the seam. Can anyone comment on this?

Re: One Piece Windshield
You can see the distortion in the windshield on this truck. Which by the way is one well built truck that I happened to meet on the road in Idaho or Wyoming this summer as they were coming back from a show somewhere.
If I didn't want the center bar I'd find someone who could V butt the glass so there was just a narrow seam there.

Re: One Piece Windshield
I don't have an AD but a while back I was at a car show and there was a vendor there with one of the one piece windshields for an AD on display. I could see the distortion around the center of the glass easily. I like the look but don't think I'd go that route.
