how much is $8500 cdn? Around here, you can find a pretty clean 89-91 for about $3000. I paid $4500 for an original owner 90 Silverado with new paint and 120K mileage about 1 1/2 years ago. Of course, there are tons of them around here. The truck looks sharp, though. Good luck selling her.

How much is that US? Up where your at I could see a clean one going for a little more then down here. Not knowing the exchange rate but having a little idea I think it may be a high starting price. Courseyou can see if you have any bites at that if you got the time to sit on it.

I just bought a 88 last Feb for $5k US. fairly well Loaded dual air silverado R20 454 with 72,000 fully documents original miles. Always garaged when it wasn't pulling a travel trailer for a elderly couple. NEVER been in salty road enviorment. Never been in a wreck according to the owner and I can find absolutly not evidence that it's not true.

Two main problems it has is some fade in the carpet (didn't have tinted windows) and the foam in the armests disingrated.
It was repainted about 10 years ago with the paint flaking problems GM had as a warranty deal.
About the only options it doesn't have is the locker, tint, dual battery rear heat and third row.

I felt I paid a little much but when I was ready to buy I looked at ever R20 in Atlanta and it was the cleanest by a long shot.

Guy a couple doors up from me here at work just sold a 90 that cosmetically was as good as mine maybe even better. It was also a R20 with 454. It was repainted better all black (was black and silver he told me). Nice mags, had factory tinted windows and Gray interrior. Also had power mirrors and a 4l80 with about 60k on it. It had 205k on the engine. Was a good runner but high miles. he let it go for $3200. The miles were scaring people. I wish he had let me know he was selling it before I bought what I did. He decided to sell it 3 weeks after I bought mine. Took him 7 months to sell it with a $4200 asking price in the biginning. I would have bought it and dropped a motor in it when it let go if I had known. I often asked the guy when he was going to sell it to me.

Well, that works out to be a little under $6,000 USD. So, I'd say that's fair for a truck that clean!

What a really nice truck...
