I recently sold a 68 chevy k20. It had a 327 w 4 speed manual and factory air. The person who purchased it did not want the 327 but asked me to put a 350 in its place. Has anyone else came across someone like this. The 327 has 423 hp. I mean really. I of course refused.

Re: Sbc

I don't see a problem. Put in a stock or almost stock 350, keep your 327 or sell it separately or put it in something else. You are selling the truck and it is no longer yours and the new owner wanted a 350. Unless you are just doing sales and not a mechanic shop that is able to do a swap.

Or sell him a 350 and let him do the swap.

Did you refuse because you thought that a 350 would be hurting or changing something?

I agree, keep the 327 for your self, put in a 350 make him happy; isn't the 327 worth more than the 350?
