Power heated seat questions

I found some power heated leather seats from a 1999 Tahoe and will be putting them in my 1996 GMC Sierra. I hooked the drivers side seat up to the GMC wiring and all the power functions work correctly. but there is an extra brown wire on the Tahoe harness, I am assuming this is for the heated seat, is this correct and can it just be hooked to 12v power?

On the passenger seat, the wiring is different, can I just splice the Tahoe harness to the GMC power and ground? I need to know if I should use any relays when hooking up the seats.

And just out of curiosity, can I hook up a memory package to these seats?

Thanks for all the help.
