Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember

I wanted a PB front end in the worst way, and I ordered the parts, but after 8+ weeks and no parts, I gotta go elsewhere.

Yep, it does take a while for your kit to be built, but the quality and performance are worth it. No worries though, if you must step out of line another guy will get his kit sooner. No harm no foul. If I were in your shoes... Oh wait I have been (mild front and rear w/coilovers)... I'd talk with the folks at PBFab moving up the chain until you get a satisfactory outcome. Just my 2¢. No matter how you proceed, good luck with your build.

I've waited 12 weeks for front shocks and mounts.
Well worth the wait.
I'm sure there are other things you can be doing on your build.
Its all in the planning when you order Porterbuilt products.
They are SUPER busy for a reason.
QUALITY products.

Nibs ,can u tell me what pan that is ......looks deeper in the front than the f-body pan...and unless Nate has changed his format u will need that xtra clearance over the rack....It looks way high now and that's what has me puzzled.....maybe because you've got the tailshaft way low because of hump...anyway when u get rear up and lower brackets pay close attention to the area above rack.......been there........jim

Keith nailed it on the head. I knew going in I was going to have to wait but wasn't a big deal because I had plenty of other stuff to work on with my truck. Porterbuilt is worth the wait as the products are super nice and high quality.

What about one of the vendors on the forum that sell Porterbuit .... They might have what you need in stock. I believe Laidback Recreations and Pro Performance are Porterbuilt Dealers .

If for some reason you dont get something figured out give me a call at 918-845-1935 .

JT-

I apologize for the frustration and delay. We have been back-ordered on a small hardware piece to complete your kit for a few weeks now. Currently at the mercy of the machine shop.

We have been in contact with the company you purchased your control arms from and I thought we had a solution worked out.

We will wait to hear back from them in regards to your order.

Again, I am sorry that the wait was more than you anticipated. I wish you the best moving forward.

Nate
